Part-Time Teacher-Tutor

Oxford Learning is looking for dedicated Teacher-Tutors who are motivated by teaching mathematics and physics. This role requires working directly with students without the need for lesson planning, as you'll leverage pre-planned lessons designed to maximize student learning. Strong interpersonal skills and math capabilities are integral for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tutoring for up to three students at once

• Implement pre-planned lessons based on Oxford Learning’s methods

• Write detailed notes after each tutoring session

• Foster a supportive and professional learning environment

• Engage in training sessions and fun staff activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred

• Experience with high school math and physics tutoring

• Knowledge of current math curriculum, particularly Grades 9-12

• Excellent communication and multitasking skills

• Availability for evening shifts and some Saturdays
