Position: Afternoon Early Childhood Educator Role
Explore a fulfilling position at John T. Tuck Public School as an Early Childhood Educator for the BASP program. This long-term occasional role focuses on developing engaging activities for children aged 3.8 to 12 years.

In this 35-hour week role, you'll implement a full-day kindergarten program while providing after-school care. As an RECE/DECE, you will work closely with classroom teachers to create and deliver play-based activities that align with the Ministry of Education’s Kindergarten Program. Your efforts will ensure a high-quality, licensed educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead both before and after school programming

• Collaborate on developmentally appropriate play-based activities

• Ensure compliance with relevant educational guidelines

• Prepare and organize engaging activities for children

• Maintain supervision and safety during program hours

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education

• Member in good standing with College of Early Childhood Educators

• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification

• Clear Criminal Reference Check required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
