• Pay or shift range: $70,000 CAD to $80,000 CAD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Job Summary
: CIMCO is seeking a Junior Electrical Panel Estimator to build quote electrical panels built out of our Burlington Manufacturing Shop. This role will work internally with our sales teams to provide pricing for CIMCO Electrical Panels.

• Review pricing requests from the CIMCO sales team. Work with engineering to provide basis of design.
• Develop pricing tools to assist with efficient panel estimating and quoting.
• Update pricing for standard electrical panels and provide quotes for custom electrical panels.
• Review panel wiring diagrams and bills of material as needed to update electrical panel pricing.
• Source pricing and availability for equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Evaluate panel labour and associated impact on panel fabrication estimating.
• Complete estimates encompassing all equipment, materials, labour and subcontractors, including review with sales team and bid review.
• Liaise with vendors for updated pricing, material offerings, and system designs.

• Post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering is considered an asset.
• Professional Engineering designation is considered an asset.
• Competent and experienced in electrical panel design and fabrication.
• Knowledge of CSA & UL Codes and Standards.
• Knowledge of AC motors protection and controls using conventional and modern techniques is required.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic instrumentations is required.
• Knowledge of control strategies for refrigeration equipment and systems would be an asset.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and initiative.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks/requests at once.
• Experience in Industrial Refrigeration is an asset.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
