Wood is seeking a Building Services / HVAC Engineer to join our Mining & Minerals business focusing on designing and delivering mining projects globally. This opportunity is Onsite at our Vancouver, Trail, Saskatoon or Burlington office.

The Role
Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for a Building Services / HVAC Engineer to join our Mining & Minerals business team. The role will be reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager; this position is in our Saskatoon, SK office.

Competitive  salary with regular salary reviews to ensure we are rewarding at the right level in line with the market. The salary range for this role is CDN $115, per year. Final salary will be based on relevant and applicable experience, education, and the specific skill set and qualifications required for the role.

Expected:

Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering

Familiarity with HVAC design codes, calculations, equipment selection and specification development

Proven experience in applying ASHRAE Standards, ACGIH, Canadian Building Code, National Plumbing Code, CSA, ASME as it pertains to engineering design of large industrial projects

Professional Engineer (in Canada with the ability to register in the province of Saskatchewan, British Columbia or Ontario is required.

Mining and metal processing, or similar experience

Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills

5+ years of related design experience is an asset

Proven expertise using HAP and Fathom. Knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D design/drafting considered an asset
