Position: Engineering Designer for Traffic Signals & Lighting
Join RVA as an Engineering Designer specializing in Transportation Lighting & Signals in Burlington, ON, and help shape transportation projects. Utilize your designs to ensure effective lighting and traffic signal arrangements.
As part of RVA’s team, you will work on diverse transportation infrastructure projects, applying your technical knowledge to create efficient designs for traffic signals and roadway lighting. This full-time position emphasizes collaboration with transportation and electrical teams, providing a foundation for your growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer and design systems for electrical applications

• Draft schematic and detailed design documentation

• Support projects from initial proposal to execution

• Visit sites to assess and monitor projects

• Conduct lighting analysis using AGi

Requirements:

• Educational background in civil and electrical design

• 0-5 years’ design experience preferred

• Familiarity with key regulatory standards

• Utility coordination and conflict resolution experience

• Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and personal vehicle required
