Join the advancement of nuclear technology as a Mechanical Design Engineer I. Focus on the design and testing of innovative mechanical systems in a supportive hybrid setting.
This role is geared toward new engineers eager to impact the nuclear domain. You will collaborate closely with the Robotic Tooling Design Manager, building detailed models and preparing technical documents while also providing mentorship to junior engineers. Your responsibilities will include the full lifecycle of tooling development from prototype assembly to final execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and detail 3D models for tooling
• Assemble and test bespoke electro-mechanical systems
• Formulate testing procedures to ensure compliance
• Operate final designs in client facilities
• Provide oversight and mentorship within the engineering team
Requirements:
• Mechanical Engineering degree mandatory
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience considered
• Familiarity with FEA and classical analysis techniques
• Strong abilities in report writing
• Flexible hybrid work schedule available
