Senior Mechanical Engineer

Join W Electric Canada Inc. as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Burlington, ON. This hybrid role focuses on developing intricate 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings for innovative tooling solutions.

In this senior position, you will report to the Manager of Maintenance Tooling Engineering. Your primary responsibilities will include creating 3D models, prototyping, assembling, and testing custom equipment. You will also ensure compliance with design specifications and provide mentoring to junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models and manufacturing drawings for unique tooling

• Assemble and test custom equipment from prototype to final product

• Create and develop test procedures for compliance assurance

• Operate final tooling systems in customer facilities

• Mentor and oversee junior engineering team members

Requirements:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering

• At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience

• Proficient in design development and change control processes
