As a Senior Mechanical Engineering Technician, you will directly support engineers in building prototypes, conducting tests, and ensuring our medical devices function optimally. Your responsibilities will include detailed documentation and supporting design transfers, combined with a commitment to high standards in testing and analysis. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in mechanical and electro-mechanical prototyping
• Perform diagnostics and analyze test data
• Create thorough documentation and lab reports
• Participate in design transfer to manufacturing
• Support sustaining engineering for existing product lines
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required; BA in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Minimum five years of experience in medical equipment development
• Knowledge of testing equipment is essential
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift 40 lbs
