Mechanical Proposal Engineer at GCR

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who can act as a technical liaison among clients, engineering teams, and procurement departments. A successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience and will build and price BOMs for various assemblies. The role includes making buy decisions, sourcing materials, and ensuring the completion of proposals based on provided specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical liaison for project execution

• Build and price BOMs for test assemblies and adapters

• Produce detailed working BOMs for purchasing needs

• Make buy decisions and select suppliers for BOM items

• Translate BOMs into comprehensive cost proposals

Requirements:

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• 5-7 years of relevant engineering experience

• Must be a US citizen

• Background check and drug test required

• Strong communication skills for internal and external collaboration
