WSP is seeking a seasoned Environmental Permitting and Approvals Consultant – Mining, with a minimum of 5 years in the consultation field. This role involves significant responsibility for leading environmental compliance and approvals for mining ventures in Ontario, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements. Leverage your expertise to mentor junior professionals and foster a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive environmental approvals for mining operations in Ontario

• Prepare and evaluate permit applications and environmental reports

• Coordinate with in-house experts for regulatory compliance

• Produce high-quality environmental documentation

• Facilitate effective communication with regulatory authorities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, geology, or related field

• Over 5 years of consulting experience focused on mining approvals

• Detailed understanding of Ontario mining regulations

• Excellent written and verbal English communication

• Preferred eligibility for P.Geo. or P.Eng.
