Production Engineer Ontario

Evertz is seeking a Production Engineer to validate advanced broadcast and AV solutions in Burlington, Ontario. Engage in testing hardware, firmware, and software in a dynamic environment.

In this in-office role, you will interface with development and testing teams to establish testing requirements. Successful candidates will create and execute manual and automated test plans while tracking deficiencies using JIRA. You'll also provide training for new product releases and technical support to the Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate hardware, firmware, and software releases

• Collaborate with teams to understand testing requirements

• Create and execute test plans, both manual and automated

• Track defect reports using JIRA

• Train manufacturing staff for new product launches

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering fields

• 1-3 years experience in Software Quality Assurance

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to solve problems in changing situations

• Familiarity with modern testing technologies
