Join Semtech as a Junior NPI Product Engineer, based in Burlington, ON or Bristol, UK, with a hybrid work model. Focus on semiconductor product development and testing under senior engineer mentorship.
This role supports various NPI activities including product testing, characterization, and quality assurance. As you work alongside senior engineers, you will develop vital skills in optical, analog, and mixed-signal designs, contributing to innovative product solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to NPI from product development to release
• Collaborate with internal teams for seamless production transfer
• Assist in defining DfT and DfM requirements for projects
• Perform data analysis related to product characterization
• Support yield modeling and reliability qualification
Requirements:
• BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 5-8 years of engineering experience in semiconductor fields
• Familiarity with data analysis tools for reporting
• Basic understanding of semiconductor IC design principles
• Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience hands-on mentorship in a stimulating environment while impacting new product success at Semtech.
