Position: Lead Designer for Mechanical Layouts
Take the lead at Ausenco as a Designer for Mechanical Layouts, focusing on mineral processing plants. Drive projects forward with your extensive experience in 2D and 3D layouts.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the creation of mechanical layouts and act as a mentor to junior designers. With 15+ years in EPC/EPCM environments, you’ll ensure that project designs meet industry regulations and quality standards. Your efforts will support successful project execution and facilitate thorough interdisciplinary coordination for optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop mechanical layouts for studies and projects

• Create comprehensive design drawings and documentation

• Manage layout project schedules and budget forecasts

• Enforce design standards across all project work

• Assist proposal managers in estimate preparations

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering Technician diploma or similar

• Extensive layout design experience in mining projects

• Proficient in AutoCAD and similar tools

• In-depth understanding of processing equipment

• Strong organizational and leadership skills
