Position: Senior Engineer – Electrical Design Role

This position requires senior-level expertise in electrical design for various industrial projects, especially in mining. You will design critical power systems, oversee compliance, and conduct extensive electrical studies, ensuring designs meet all necessary safety and operational guidelines. Your mentorship will also shape the next generation of engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize electrical control and distribution systems

• Perform studies on load flow and short-circuit scenarios

• Prepare specifications for major electrical equipment

• Conduct field evaluations and oversee engineering accuracy

• Facilitate coordination across multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• 12+ years of relevant electrical design experience

• P.Eng. certification in Ontario is mandatory

• Expertise in compliance with CSA, ANSI, IEEE codes

• Familiarity with automation and instrumentation systems

• Strong team collaboration and communication abilities
