Position: Johnson Electric Automation Electrical Designer
Embark on a rewarding journey with Johnson Electric as an Automation Electrical Designer in Ancaster. You will create essential electrical schematics in EPLAN, driving the advancement of robotics and industrial automation.

Your role will be pivotal in designing and supporting electrical control systems for automated machinery and robotic cells. Drawing from your background in EPLAN, you will develop critical schematics while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Work collaboratively with project managers and engineers to navigate installations and troubleshooting effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical control systems for industrial automation

• Create and update electrical schematics with EPLAN

• Troubleshoot PLC/HMI systems and support testing activities

• Assist with machine startup and commissioning processes

• Ensure adherence to CSA and UL electrical standards

Requirements:

• Relevant post-secondary education in electrical technology or engineering

• 3-6+ years of experience in electrical design
