Welding Engineer

Position: Welding Engineer at ZOOK
Elevate your career as a Welding Engineer within ZOOK’s Metal Business Unit. Support project management, technical reviews, and product development while leading innovative custom welding solutions.

In this role, you will assist the Welded Products Manager in engineering leadership and development for the Custom Welded Products business unit. Your responsibilities include strong technical ownership, disciplined documentation, and collaboration with customers and suppliers. Additionally, you'll mentor technical staff and engage in risk assessment to enhance project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Welded Products Manager on engineering activities

• Lead product development for custom welded assemblies

• Utilize Solid Works for CAD models and technical documentation

• Develop quality and process documentation for standards compliance

• Drive welding process development, including GTAW and LBW

Requirements:

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in good standing

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

• Strong CAD knowledge and proficiency in Solid Works

• Familiarity with welding processes and APQP

• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing or welding
