Welding Engineer for Custom Products

Take your engineering skills to the next level as a Welding Engineer at ZOOK, focusing on custom welded products. Provide leadership in design, project management, and product development.

This role supports the Welded Products Manager and involves engineering leadership, technical review, and mentorship.

You'll work with in precise procedures and quality systems, facilitating effective communication with suppliers and customers. Candidates should possess a solid grounding in mechanical engineering, ideally with 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or welding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate to mentor and prioritize engineering activities

• Lead hands-on development of custom welded assemblies

• Create and review CAD models and documentation using Solid Works

• Maintain quality and process documentation for projects

• Drive welding process development and certification activities

Requirements:

• P.Eng licensure in Ontario

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related

• Minimum two years in an industrial/manufacturing setting

• Strong CAD proficiency, especially in Solid Works

• Familiarity with welding processes and standards
