Position: Senior Mechanical Designer at Marmon

In this senior role, you will lead the design and development of custom water and wastewater treatment systems. Your expertise in mechanical design and piping layouts will help you create complex 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings for numerous industries such as petrochemical, chemical, and power generation. Additionally, you will provide mentorship to junior designers, ensuring quality and compliance in every project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead 3D mechanical layouts and piping designs for equipment

• Develop detailed fabrication drawings and structural skid designs

• Review engineering documents and ensure project compliance

• Mentor junior and intermediate designers on best practices

• Identify design risks and improvement opportunities

Requirements:

• 8-15 years in mechanical design and industrial equipment

• Advanced Solid Works proficiency for modeling and drafting

• Experience with skid-mounted equipment and piping systems

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration ability
