Mechanical Designer Pumps SolidWorks AutoCAD

Design rotating machinery in Burlington using Solid Works and AutoCAD. Create accurate drawings for pumps, skids, components, and assemblies.

As a Mechanical Designer at CPC Pumps, you will report to the Mechanical Design Manager within the mechanical designing team. You will create engineering designs and technical drawings for rotating equipment, including pumps and skids. The work involves collaboration with engineers, project managers, and other professionals to improve product designs. You will also prepare engineering documents, review requirements, select materials, and support customer specifications and applicable standards.

• Prepare pump component, fabrication, layout, and assembly drawings
• Create designs using Solid Works and AutoCAD
• Release bills of materials and contract documents
• Review designs and drawings for fit, errors, and conformity
• Maintain engineering standards and improve design procedures

• Mechanical Engineering bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Two years' Solid Works or equivalent CAD experience
• Two years' AutoCAD experience for two-dimensional sketching
• Two to four years' manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
• Experience with rotating equipment, pressure vessels, or ASME preferred
