As a Specialized Program Instructor, you will support Burlington Student Theatre's technical needs for productions serving children from ages 4 to 17. This role requires coordination of personnel and technical elements, ensuring high-quality productions under your leadership. Flexible scheduling includes evening and weekend shifts, typically reaching up to 40 hours during key rehearsal periods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor youth technicians and oversee their development
• Direct technical management for theatre productions
• Create and maintain production schedules and logistics
• Provide leadership during rehearsals and performances
• Collaborate creatively to express production visions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Theatre or relevant field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical theatre roles
• Proven ability in coordinating technical logistics
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Must have Standard First Aid and CPR-C certifications or willingness to acquire
Foster creativity in young performers while leading Burlington Student Theatre productions.
