Lead BMO branch service and sales through coaching, customer advice, and team performance management. Work primarily independently while supporting retail banking outcomes.
As an Assistant Branch Manager, you guide employees and understand customer needs across personal banking and credit cards. You support sales, service, referrals, and profitability while following legal, regulatory, and BMO requirements. This work includes coaching development, resolving customer issues, and analyzing performance information.
Key Responsibilities:- Guide, direct, and coach branch employees
- Advise customers on suitable banking products and strategies
- Coordinate service requests and resolve customer issues
- Review performance measures and address identified gaps
- Provide technical training and operational support
- Three to five years of relevant experience typically
- One to three years banking or customer service experience
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of retail banking products and branch processes
- In-depth communication, collaboration, analytical, and influence skills
