Job Title: Phlebotomist – Lab Clinic Support

Employment Type: Temporary Support

Hourly Rate: $25 to $30 – Base on Experience

About the Role:

Fuze HR is seeking skilled and compassionate Phlebotomists to support lab clinics. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working in a clinical setting, interacting with patients, and contributing to high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection accurately and safely.
• Prepare and label specimens for laboratory testing.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and transport of specimens according to protocols.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide excellent patient care and comfort.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping, scheduling, and data entry.
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety guidelines, including infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized Phlebotomy program or equivalent.
• Certification or registration with relevant Ontario regulatory body preferred (e.g., CMLTO or equivalent).
• Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience
  , preferably in a lab or clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
