This role will play a critical part in enabling seamless Loan Origination System (LOS) and Creditor Insurance integrations, ensuring insurance products are accurately quoted, underwritten, bound, and serviced within lending journeys. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will help bridge lending, insurance, and vendor ecosystems to deliver compliant, scalable, and customer centric digital experiences across credit products.
As the Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will liaise between the team and business stakeholders for functionality enhancements and new developments. You will be a part of an exciting team responsible for translating concepts and requirements into client focused and effective system-based solutions. You will contribute to complex and diverse initiatives through formulating and defining system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a comprehensive understanding of the applicable business applications.
Technologies you have experience with:
You have advanced knowledge of integration technologies such as API, Webservices, and event-based integrations supporting external vendor systems.You are familiar with test management tools such as Postman, Zephyr, and can design, document, and execute test plans for end-to-end vendor integrations.You are familiar with IDP and authentication including OKTA.You have experience using collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence and Miro.How you will create impact:
Facilitating discussions with business partners to collect, document, and validate detailed analysis of business functions, rules and processes required for highly complex projects.Guiding the assessment and selection of technical design solutions, acting as intermediary between the team and the Business stakeholders.Performing detailed data analysis, data modeling, mapping and flow to support system functionality, integrations and conversations.Developing the user acceptance test plan, strategies and leading the overall testing activities for medium to large initiatives.Leading the continuous improvement of the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) practice through research, devising improvements, establishing more efficient processes and providing guidance to other team members.To join our team:
You have at least five years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.You have completed post-secondary education in Information Technology or a related discipline.You have advanced knowledge of Agile practices, SDLC methodologies, processes, and tools as well as project planning methodologies and Lean process improvement tools and techniques.Having work experience in an Insurance Environment is an asset.ITIL V3 or V4 foundation certification is an asset.Demonstrated ability to integrate financial systems by collaborating with external vendors, working with platforms like Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and API-driven services, partnering with UI/UX teams for digital solutions, and facilitating analysis and validation of complex, multi-system integration requirements for lending initiatives.You have a testing background that can work well with vendor UAT, API testing, regression planning, authentication flows (Okta), and automated/scripted testing.How you will succeed:
