Senior IT Director Digital Services

Lead the digital evolution at the City of Burlington as the Senior IT Director. This hybrid role focuses on strategic technology management across municipal services, enhancing community engagement and operations. We are looking for a Senior IT Director to spearhead the city’s digital transformation initiatives.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will manage a multi-disciplinary team responsible for enterprise platforms and technology operations that serve both city departments and residents. Your expertise will be crucial in aligning technology strategies with city goals while maintaining effective governance.

• Oversee IT operational roadmap and technology strategy implementation
• Manage enterprise applications and product life cycle
• Resolve prioritization conflicts for resources
• Ensure high-performing client support and infrastructure services
• Lead vendor partnerships and contract negotiations

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
• PMP, ITIL v4, CISM certifications required
• At least 10 years in IT, 5 in a leadership role
• Proven experience in budget management and vendor relations
• Solid leadership and mentoring skills necessary
