Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager Position

Pursue a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager position, focusing on indirect purchasing in a hybrid work environment across Richmond, BC, or Burlington, ON. Hone your skills in strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations.

This 6-month contract reports to the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, overseeing all indirect purchasing activities. You'll support the sourcing of capital expenditure projects, work closely with internal teams to meet business objectives, and perform detailed price and contract negotiations with vendors throughout North America.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business units to assess and recommend suppliers

• Manage Capex sourcing processes and technical RFQs

• Develop and implement effective bidding processes

• Negotiate vendor specifications and service criteria

• Track supplier agreements for renewals and compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required with over 5 years in Strategic Sourcing

• Proven negotiation skills in tech-driven environments

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word capabilities

• Preferred SCMP or relevant Supply Chain certification

• Sourcing experience in Manufacturing and IT is a plus
