Principal Manager of Supply Chain Operations

Transform Pet Smart’s supply chain as the Principal Manager overseeing Canada’s distribution operations. This role combines remote and onsite work at Elora and Calgary centers.

You will enforce operational governance while collaborating with Metro Operations to meet financial targets and enhance service quality. Your strategic influence with senior leaders will drive crucial decisions affecting supply chain efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure achievement of service and quality standards in distribution

• Lead the development of operational reviews and accountability meetings

• Oversee financial health by managing key metrics and costs

• Partner with various departments for cost optimization and performance

• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related fields

• 7-10 years of extensive supply chain and logistics experience

• Proven experience in operational governance with 3PLs

• Strong skills in financial reporting and management

• Effective communication and leadership skills for senior interactions
