Primary Responsibilities

Replenishment of Point of Use inventory using kanban methodology

Provide customer service at the Stores wicket including completion of inventory transactions

Daily report running, creation of manufacturing orders and production order picking

Support service team by fulfilling material requests and replenishing service dedicated inventory

Monitor and facilitate where possible, workflow and communication between Production Cells and other relevant departments

Responsible for supporting inventory cycle counts

Material handling and optimizing of inventory storage

Stock/process audits and variance investigation

Maintaining a high level of Inventory Accuracy

Required Skills and Knowledge

Familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts

Demonstrated knowledge of MRP

Experience working with a perpetual computerized inventory management system

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong analytical, problem solving and investigative ability

Strong communications skills including building strong relationships with people at all levels

Be able to meet the physical demands-prolonged standing, occasionally climbing small ladders, carrying and lifting 15kgs

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a particular strength using Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of management for controlled goods and material controlled under ITAR would be an asset

Commitment to change using a continuous improvement approach

Requires developing job knowledge/skills.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
