Salary Range: $37,000.00 To $38,000.00 Annually

Purpose

Responsible for the facilities cleaning in designated area. Operate within our standards of safety, high quality customer service and efficient operations.

Main Responsibilities and Activities

• Thoroughly clean lobbies, laundry room and washroom, elevator cab, garbage chute and garbage rooms, including mopping and vacuuming of all floors, runners and furniture using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Cleaning, and wiping of all windows, doors, trims, baseboards, walls, floors in the common areas, including the tops of washers and dryers.
• Dust all lobby area light shades, table tops, picture frames, and elevator fans.
• Clean and polish all stainless steel.
• Ensure vacant apartments are thoroughly cleaned as per company standards and completed on schedule as directed by property manager.
• Remove and dispose of all pamphlets and flyers from mail room, lobby area, and garbage receptacles.
• Remove debris on every floor.
• Follow Health & Safety guidelines including WHMIS.
• Identify and report urgent repairs or hazards to management.
• Maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and tenants.
• Other duties as required.

• Work in close cooperation with co-workers, vendors, contractors.

Qualifications

Education

• Minimum High school

Experience

• Preference:
  Previous experience as building cleaner.

Special Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to frequently stop, bend, and kneel. Ability to lift and move objects weight up to 50lbs.
