Clean designated hospital areas at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington using vacuuming, mopping, and careful washroom fixture cleaning. Support a sanitary environment through detailed custodial work.
As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will perform general custodial requirements and related assigned duties. Your work includes dusting, sweeping, spot cleaning, emptying waste receptacles, and vacuuming carpets. You will also restock dispensers and complete equipment checks.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean designated building areas through assigned custodial tasks
- Vacuum carpets and use various cleaning equipment
- Sweep, mop, dust, and spot clean surfaces
- Restock soap, towels, tissue, and sanitary napkins
- Observe health and safety procedures and policies
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Use cleaning equipment, including I-mop and vacuum
- Remain reliable, motivated, and willing to assist
- Physically able to carry out position duties
