Site Plan Review Supervisor

Position: Site Plan Review Supervisor at City
Lead the Site Plan Review Team for the City of Burlington on a hybrid basis. This role combines supervision with planning oversight to support community growth and land use objectives.

As the Supervisor, Site Plan Review, you will guide a team in managing site plans, minor variances, and more. With a focus on mentorship, you will promote an environment of communication and collaboration to enhance performance and service delivery. Your leadership will drive high-quality outcomes aligned with the City’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor the Site Plan Review team

• Assign work and adapt plans to emerging priorities

• Ensure customer service objectives are met continuously

• Provide expert advice on planning matters

• Author staff reports and coordinate city submissions

Requirements:

• Four years degree in Urban Planning or related field

• Four to seven years of professional planning experience

• Two years in a supervisory role

• Knowledge of Ontario Planning Act and Site Plan Review

• Strong organizational and project management skills
