Job Responsibilities
Load, unload, move and retrieve products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking, checking materials, and assisting in taking inventory
Receive materials/finished goods on a timely and accurate basis
Examine, store and deliver materials according to established procedures and customer requirements
Communicate and work closely with machine operators, team members, customer service representatives and other departments to ensure workflow continuity
Assist customers in meeting unique storage and delivery requirements
Prepare and ship materials/finished goods in a timely manner according to customer requirements
Maintain clean and organized work spaces in compliance with safety and housekeeping standards
Follow all company safety rules and regulations
Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred
Forklift certified
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift, including operating a forklift, standing, walking, and sitting
Basic math and reading skills
Strong attention to detail, organization, time management and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team setting
Ability to work the 12‑hour continental shift rotation
Knowledge of 5S and Lean practices
