Wound Care Registered Nurse

Position: Wound Care Registered Nurse at ParaMed
Become an NSWOC RN with Para Med, focusing on wound care in community home settings. This full-time position requires a specialized Wound Certificate for effective care delivery.

In this role, you will enhance nursing practices and ensure compliance with established standards. The NSWOC RN is responsible for monitoring and assessing patient needs, developing comprehensive care plans, and supervising nursing staff. You will also have a role in evaluating team performance and guiding nursing practices in the absence of leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in line with nursing standards

• Assess and document patient health progress

• Develop and review individualized care plans

• Manage nursing and personal care staff activities

• Oversee performance evaluations and address issues

Requirements:

• Appropriate nursing certification from the recognized institution

• Registered or eligible for registration with local authority

• Experience in both community and long-term care

• Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills

• Reliable vehicle for home visits in community care
