As a Registered Nurse at Para Med, your expertise in wound care is crucial for enhancing nursing practices and adhering to established standards. You’ll be responsible for assessing residents, developing care plans, and managing nursing staff to ensure quality service delivery. This role also provides an opportunity to lead the nursing department in the absence of the Director of Care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure patient care follows nursing standards and physician's orders

• Assist in monitoring and developing patient care plans

• Manage staff performance and conduct appraisals

• Provide guidance in the Director of Care’s absence

• Evaluate nursing practices and implement improvements

Requirements:

• Current nursing certificate from an accredited institution

• Registration eligibility with provincial professional institutions

• Experience in community or long-term care settings
