Registered Practical Nurse Medical Surgical

Provide patient-centred care as a Registered Practical Nurse in Georgetown, supporting acute medical and surgical populations on evening and night shifts.

Halton Healthcare seeks a Registered Practical Nurse for the GH Med/Surg IP department. This permanent full-time position involves rotating 7.5-hour shifts, including scheduled evening and night hours. The successful candidate supports compassionate care through assessment, medications, wound care, and electronic documentation.

• Care for acute medical and surgical patient populations
• Administer medications according to required certification and experience
• Perform physical assessments and provide wound care
• Maintain IV lines and support enteral feeding
• Document patient care electronically and accurately

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Heart & Stroke approved BLS provider card upon hire
• Experience working with and advocating for elderly patients
• Strong communication and patient-centred care skills
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record
