Hospital Patient Flow Nursing Coordinator

Lead hospital patient flow and staffing at RVH through strong organization, interdisciplinary communication, and critical care expertise in permanent part-time work.

The Nursing Coordinator supports Renfrew Victoria Hospital’s patient care and administrative operations across shifts. You will coordinate staffing patterns, respond to changing acuity or volume, and liaise with medical staff, department heads, external partners, and community agencies. The position also supports family-centered care and safe working environments.

• Coordinate staffing across hospital areas and satellite dialysis units
• Book escorts and augment staffing ratios when required
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
• Report incidents and communicate actions to Patient Care Services
• Maintain communication with community agencies and professional organizations

• Emergency, acute, intensive care knowledge and sound clinical judgment
• Medical-surgical, emergency, stepdown ICU, and ventilation experience
• Current nursing registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• ACLS, CPR, IV, and ECG interpretation capabilities
• Family support, organization, and interdisciplinary leadership skills
