Casual Foot Care Registered Nurse

Provide specialized foot care in Thunder Bay using nursing assessments and treatment interventions. Work casual days, evenings, and weekends with no scheduled rotation.

Nor West Community Health Centres seeks three casual Foot Care RPN/RN Nurses for its community-based, non-profit health centre network. You will provide foot care services and assist with primary care delivery. The work emphasizes disease prevention, health promotion, education, and client empowerment. Current nursing procedures, physical assessments, electronic medical records, and interdisciplinary collaboration are central to practice.

• Provide foot care services to community health centre clients
• Assist in delivering primary care services
• Perform nursing and physical assessments
• Apply treatment interventions and professional assessment skills
• Support prevention, education, health promotion, and client empowerment

• Current RPN or RN registration in good standing with CNO
• Minimum two years of Foot Care Nurse experience
• Basic and Advanced Foot Care certification
• Knowledge of current nursing procedures and assessments
• Experience using electronic medical records systems
