Wound care expertise defines this full-time NSWOC RN position with Para Med, requiring a Wound Certificate from a one-year accredited university course. Reliable vehicle access is required for community home care.

The NSWOC RN enhances nursing practice management and quality according to governing-body standards, internal policies, and standards of care. The position supports resident and patient care, supervises nursing staff, and provides direction when the Director of Care is absent.

• Ensure care follows nursing standards, physicians’ orders, and policies
• Assess and monitor residents and patients
• Develop, implement, review, and evaluate care plans
• Manage, orient, and evaluate assigned nursing staff
• Provide departmental direction without the Director of Care

• Current provincial certificate of competence from an approved institution
• Registration or eligibility with the approved professional institution
• Wound Certificate from a one-year accredited university course
• Previous similar community or long-term care experience
• Excellent communication, comprehension, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
