Responsibilities
● Program Management:
Support the implementation and maintenance of H&S programs within organizations.
● Compliance & Auditing:
Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and auditing where required.
● Incident Mastery:
Lead thorough investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.
● Data-Driven Safety:
Analyze trends and report on performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
● Training & Mentorship:
Deliver engaging safety training to both frontline employees and leadership.
●
Collaboration:
Facilitate Joint Health & Safety Committees (JHSC) and partner with management to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
●
Experience:
3+ years of progressive experience in H&S roles.
●
Education:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in OHS or a related field.
● Regulatory Knowledge:
Deep understanding of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and MOL regulations.
● Industry Background:
