Position: Quality Engineer for Optical Technologies
Join Semtech in Burlington, Canada as a Senior Product Quality Engineer focused on quality in high-speed optical technologies. Lead customer escalations and implement innovative quality solutions across the Fiber Edge portfolio.

As a senior engineer, you will play a vital role in advancing product reliability and customer satisfaction. Your extensive experience in optical transceiver manufacturing will support quality improvements across products and processes. Collaborating with design and manufacturing teams, you’ll lead customer return resolutions and initiate continuous improvement projects rooted in Six Sigma methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Fiber Edge customer RMA processes and communications

• Partner to resolve NCMR and quality excursions

• Spearhead continuous improvement projects aligned with ISO
9001

• Participate in product assessments and quality initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

• 10+ years of experience in optical transceiver manufacturing

• In-depth knowledge of optical circuits and networking technologies

• Experience in statistical analysis and quality management

• Excellent communication skills in English
