Become a key player as a Lead Archaeologist leading ambitious archaeological programs. Your leadership will ensure the preservation of heritage while enhancing community partnerships through strategic initiatives.
In this role, you will oversee complex field projects, manage regulatory compliance, and foster relationships with Indigenous Nations. Your ability to mentor team members and deliver quality outcomes will shape the success of varied archaeological assessments across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee archaeological assessments to meet regulatory standards
• Cultivate relationships with Indigenous partners
• Act as a technical resource for clients on archaeological matters
• Contribute to business development through strategic proposals
• Ensure all project deliverables align with quality standards
Requirements:
• 15+ years of multi-phase archaeological experience
• Degree in archaeology or a related discipline
• License to conduct archaeological work in Ontario
• Expertise in CRM and heritage laws
• Strong financial acumen in project management
