Associate Director - Medical & Life Sciences | Mid-Senior Recruitment Solutions for Medical Technology & Life Science Sectors.
Mackinnon Bruce International is partnered with a fast-growing Life Sciences company with broad cutting-edge technologies. The company provides a range of products & services to Biotech & Pharma to support the research & discovery of life changing drugs/therapies within Immunology & Oncology fields.
Responsibilities- Master the science and business skills in immuno-oncology, animal model gene engineering, preclinical pharmacology.
- Actively develop new business by proactively developing partnerships with prospective customers, explore business opportunities, manage negotiations and secure contracts across Canada (based Toronto or Vancouver).
- Attend trade shows/relevant conferences.
- Support the Marketing Team in branding and building awareness in the marketplace.
- Ph.D. in the bioscience field and strong scientific background looking to step into a business development (customer facing role).
- Strong scientific understanding of one of the following; immuno-oncology, immunology, oncology, pharmacology.
- Must have experience in Pre Clinical & In-Vivo research.
- Strong interest to learn advances in biopharmaceutical science and business.
- Enjoy networking with top scientists from biotech and biopharma companies.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to travel (i.e., customer meetings, conferences/vendor shows).
