The Halton District School Board is seeking a temporary full-time School Social Worker to join its innovative clinical services team. This position emphasizes mental health, emotional, and social support, and involves working closely with students, families, and communities. Responsibilities also include case management and addressing various social issues, alongside collaboration with a diverse set of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer problem-solving and consultation services around student needs

• Provide culturally responsive support to promote safety and inclusion

• Assist students and families dealing with mental health concerns

• Deliver life skills training and conflict resolution services

• Actively engage with community resources and organizations

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work

• Good standing with Ontario College of Social Workers

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Reliable transportation for travel

• Experience in a school board setting preferred
