Position: Counsellor for Addictions at ADAPT
Join ADAPT as a Counsellor for Addictions, specializing in Problem Gambling and Behavioral Addictions, with a hybrid work model based in Burlington. This full-time role is designed for professionals passionate about making a difference.

In this role, you'll conduct client assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct clinical services. You will also engage in community education initiatives and awareness programming around gambling issues. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose client needs through structured interviews

• Create detailed treatment plans with client involvement

• Facilitate psycho-educational sessions and community events

• Provide follow-up communication to referral agents

• Support clients through case management services

Requirements:

• University degree in Social Work or a related field

• Certification in Addiction Studies is preferred

• At least 1-2 years of relevant counselling experience

• Excellent communication and listening skills

• Knowledge of diverse community resources and needs
