Intensive Counsellor at ROCK

Make a difference in the lives of children and families as an Intensive Counsellor with ROCK. This full-time position provides essential mental health support in hybrid environments, emphasizing therapeutic and family-centred care.

As a critical member of the crisis services team, you will deliver intensive mental health interventions to children and families. Your expertise in social work or child and youth work will be instrumental in developing individualized care plans and providing counselling, parent coaching, and behaviour management strategies. Collaboration with caregivers and community partners is key to fostering positive family dynamics and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work or related field

• Experience in children’s mental health and crisis theory

• Strong organizational and case management skills

• Criminal reference check with vulnerable sector search

• Proficient with MAC OS and virtual environments
