** Warehouse Associate
** The Warehouse Associate in Burlington, Ontario, is responsible for processing customer orders in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining inventory integrity. This safety-sensitive role supports daily warehouse operations including material handling, order processing, and equipment operation.
** Core Responsibilities**
* ** Material Handling:
** Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move material and load/unload trucks.
* ** Order Processing:
** Pick, package, and prepare material according to customer specifications and work orders.
* ** Equipment Operation:
** Operate saw equipment (band saw, cold saw, etc.) to cut material accurately and efficiently.
* ** Inventory Management:
** Receive stock, verify material, and put away in appropriate warehouse locations.
* ** System Transactions:
** Receive stock, verify material, and put away in appropriate warehouse locations.
* ** Safety Focus:
** Follow all safety procedures, perform daily equipment inspections, and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
* ** Additional Responsibilities:
** Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager to support warehouse operations and business needs.

Qualifications & Skills **

* Education:

** A high school diploma is the minimum requirement. Post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is considered an asset.

* Experience:

** A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution experience, within a metals, manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
* ** Technical

Skills:

** Experience in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes. Experience operating saw equipment (band saw, cold saw, etc.) is considered an asset. Basic computer proficiency (MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience using ERP systems for order processing and inventory transactions. Proficiency using measuring devices and reading work orders preferred.

** Full-time, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Occasional overtime may be required based on operational needs.

** Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs); operating material handling equipment; repetitive motions; exposure to varying warehouse temperatures and industrial conditions.
** Compensation Information - $20.21 to $29.31 per hour, based on experience
