- Assist students with special needs under the direction of a certified teacher.
- Help with general daily classroom activities.
- Support special needs students in their physical and emotional health and safety.
- Promote dignity in all relationships.
- Teach small groups of students essential skills for learning.
- Assist with core academics and executive functioning skills.
- Contribute to positive educational outcomes as part of a dedicated team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of college credit OR an Associate's degree (or higher) OR Pass a para educator assessment (Para Pro).
- Prior experience as a Para educator is highly preferred.
