Diamond Vogel is seeking an experienced Site Leader for our Burlington, IA facility. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality production and distribution of Diamond Vogel products. The Site Leader provides strong leadership, supports employee development, and helps drive operational results aligned with company goals and values.

Responsibilities

  • Lead with a strong focus on safety and compliance across the facility
  • Champion Diamond Vogel’s purpose, culture, and core values
  • Execute operational plans and strategic direction provided by the Director of Operations
  • Manage performance metrics including production throughput, quality, delivery, labor utilization, and cost control
  • Build, mentor, and develop leaders and employees to create a high-performing workforce
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to provide coaching and support
  • Maintain a visible presence on the production floor and actively engage with employees
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, workflow, and waste reduction
  • Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet operational demands
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation in ERP and business systems
  • Support customer needs by ensuring orders are produced and shipped on time with a focus on quality and service
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, or distribution
  • Experience in chemical, coatings, or related industries preferred
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and developing talent
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ERP systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred; advanced degree a plus
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • High integrity, ownership mindset, and commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement
