Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr

** Exciting Opportunity to with a fast-growing Computer and Network Security Company seeking a Senior Manager of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting to drive SEC reporting and technical accounting!

The role will also assist with acquisition-related accounting, valuation work, and integration activities when applicable. Support on various ad-hoc and project-based initiatives will be part of the role as well.

Qualifications

• Approximately seven or more years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including several years in a large public accounting firm.
• Experience working in a publicly traded company and familiarity with requirements for external reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Strong command of U.S. GAAP, internal control frameworks, and SEC reporting practices, along with experience drafting technical accounting analyses.
• Familiarity with reporting and ERP tools such as Workiva, Net Suite, or similar platforms.

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 7 years of experience, with 3-4 years of Big Four public accounting experience preferred.
• Prior public company experience in a similar role.
• BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting, with MSA/MBA desirable.
• Strong technical accounting background with a knowledge of US GAAP, SOX 404, and SEC reporting standards, as well as experience with technical research and memos.
• Experience with Workiva, Net Suite or similar external reporting systems.
