A fast-growing, global company in the skincare and aesthetic medicine industry, located just north of Boston, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its expanding finance team.
This role offers a clear path to Controller by year-end and hands‑on exposure to the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for AP/AR, cash management, payroll, corporate recordkeeping, intercompany transactions, and GAAP‑compliant reporting, while supporting process improvements and financial system integrations.
This is a hybrid role (in‑office Monday–Wednesday, remote Thursday–Friday) with a salary range of $115,000–$130,000 base (Depending upon experience)
Key Responsibilities- Oversee full AP/AR cycle, including vendor payments, merchant services, ACH/wire transfers, and customer disputes
- Maintain accurate cash management and financial reporting, including P&L analysis, balance sheet review, and weekly cash updates with international partners
- Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliation, and monthly reporting
- Review and process payroll, 401K contributions, and HR‑related entries
- Prepare and maintain corporate recordkeeping: agreements, tax filings, insurance policies, and other regulatory documents
- Assist with audit preparation, ensuring GAAP compliance and organized documentation
- Approve and process commission payouts, corporate credit card transactions, and large purchases
- Support onboarding and administration of sales reps and trainers, including contract and documentation management
- Partner with leadership to enhance accounting workflows, system integrations (Quick Books, Fishbowl), and CRM processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, Public Accounting and /Private industry experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Hands‑on experience with Quick Books; familiarity with ERP/financial systems a plus
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Self‑motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and improve processes
- Prior experience in a PE‑backed or high‑growth environment is a bonus
