Cost Accounting Manager – Hybrid

Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 per year.

Join our dynamic Construction team as a Cost Accounting Manager. You will manage all aspects of cost accounting, from cycle counts and multi‑currency accounting to over and under absorption analysis. A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience is required.

• Oversee daily operations of the cost accounting department and ensure all tasks are executed accurately and on time.
• Perform cycle counts and analyze discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage multi‑currency transactions and accounting, providing strategic insights on foreign‑exchange impacts.
• Monitor and analyze over/under absorption costs, making recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
• Develop and implement cost standards for materials and labor, and prepare cost forecasts for new projects.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports, and present findings to senior management.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to establish project budgets and cost measures.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of cost accounting operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in Manufacturing.
• Proficient knowledge of cycle count, multi‑currency, over absorption, and under absorption.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, conveying complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles, including GAAP.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, making sound decisions based on data analysis.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑oriented mindset.
